Pregnancy Yoga stretches and strengthens your body, helps reduce stress and promotes a calm and healthy pregnancy.
Through breath, movement and relaxation, you will have the space to connect to your growing babies, explore the journey through pregnancy and prepare for birth.
I attended pregnancy yoga classes with the wonderful Marie at Gently Strong Yoga through all three of my pregnancies. It was the most beneficial preparation I could have done for birth. It strengthened my body and prepared my heart and mind, The classes were a peaceful refuge where I knew I would have a chance to rest and reflect. I met other mums who are some of my closest friends and who I lean on constantly for support with the ups and downs of motherhood.
The breath work I learnt in the yoga classes took me through my births and I still use now to calm anxiety. It was the profound effect that these classes had on me which inspired me to do my pre and post-natal yoga training. I am a huge advocate of yoga for daily life. Whilst I am still very much on a journey with yoga, I hope I can help you in your journey through pregnancy and early motherhood with my yoga classes.

No prior experience of yoga is necessary!
I recommend starting pregnancy yoga at any time from the beginning of your second trimester.
